The free listing review

Send your listing. We’ll tell you what your photographs can carry.

We reply with what your photographs — on Airbnb, Vrbo or your own site — can and can’t carry, whether they clear the bar for the kit, and what we would do first. Within two working days, and free — the review always comes before any payment.

Every request also receives the photo standard as a one-pager — useful whether or not you go further.

This is exactly what arrives within two working days, before any payment.

Read a review, exactly as delivered

First, plainly: this is our founder's family apartment — Shah 4, in Galata, part of the pilot this studio was built on. We show it so you can see exactly what a review looks like; a review for anyone else reads the same way.

What we looked at.

The photograph set for a two-bedroom apartment two minutes from Galata Tower — a listing gallery of around forty images, of which these eight carry the argument.

The photographs, honestly.

  • living.jpg The strongest frame in the set. The vaulted brick ceiling, the gold velvet sofa, real afternoon light. This is a poster still, and a film opens here.
  • bedroom.jpg Very good. Tall sash windows, daylight doing the work, the brick wall reading warm rather than themed. Nothing to fix.
  • bedroom2.jpg Mixed. The headboard symmetry is handsome, but surface-mounted conduit runs down both sides of the frame and the eye finds it. Filmable with a tighter crop; as a listing hero it undersells the room.
  • kitchen.jpg Mixed. The oak table with the rosé is the story; the toaster, the trolley and the fridge mid-frame are not. We would reframe on the table and let the kitchen be context.
  • ensuite_marble.jpg Quietly excellent. Marble, a gilt mirror, natural light in a bathroom — rare, and worth its place.
  • wc.jpg A signature detail: the deep-red tiled powder room with the sculptural basin. Artificial light, but here it suits.
  • wardrobe.jpg The weakest frame. Empty shelving under a downlight reads as storage, not a home. Keep it deep in the gallery; it does not belong in a film.
  • terrace.jpg The most important and most frustrating frame. The Golden Horn and the bridge are genuinely there — but the day is hazed and cables cross the sky. The terrace is this stay's finest feature and deserves one golden evening; a single well-timed frame would change what this photograph can do.

What we would do first.

Open the film inside, where the light already lives, and hold the terrace until it is photographed at its hour. Nothing here needs a professional reshoot — this set carries a film with careful selection.

Where the stay stands when guests ask an assistant.

In our probe of 10 July 2026, asked where to stay in or near Galata, a major assistant named twelve places. Istanbul Place Apartments — this stay's portfolio brand — was among them. That is a position to keep, not a promise of any future answer.

The honest close.

A review that finds you do not need us says so. This one found photographs that can carry a film — and one terrace still waiting for its evening.

The review includes where your stay stands when guests ask an assistant. From our answer panel: July 2026 — of the 35 stays asked about, 13 were named in answers; 22 were not.
