Joshua Eren Cetindamar founded Mahsus in May 2026, a motion studio for luxury hospitality based between London and Istanbul. Mahsus works at the intersection of four disciplines: photography, motion, original music, and editorial websites. The studio calibrates its standard against Aman, Soho House, Belmond, and The Connaught — the houses that decided early what restraint looks like in hospitality.

Turkish-British and bilingual, Eren came to motion through operating, not creative agency. For four years before founding Mahsus, he ran a short-term rental property — long enough to understand why a hotel's photography library matters more than its marketing budget, and why most films made of properties feel borrowed rather than specific.

Mahsus runs as a studio of one. That is the position, not the apology. Every brief is briefed, scoped, directed, and delivered by the founder, working with the property's own photographer. The studio operates in English and Turkish, takes a maximum of one engagement per discipline at a time, and never publishes pricing.
