Joshua Eren Cetindamar founded Mahsus in May 2026 — the direct booking studio for independent stays, based between London and Istanbul. Mahsus works in three disciplines: motion film, original music, and the booking-focused sites that hold them. The studio holds its standard against the houses that decided early what restraint looks like in hospitality — Aman, Soho House, Belmond, The Connaught.

Turkish-British and bilingual, Eren came to the work through operating, not creative agency. He spent six years in the short-term rental industry, and Mahsus itself was built from inside his family's stays business in Galata, where he still works. The first kit was made there and instrumented hardest there, because the family's own revenue depended on it working — a relationship the studio discloses wherever that work appears as evidence.

Mahsus runs as a studio of one. That is the position, not the apology. Every brief is read, scoped, directed and delivered by the founder, working from the photography the property already owns. The studio operates in English and Turkish and takes three builds a month. The kit's price is published; bespoke work is quoted on brief.
