This is the first apartment film we made — the reference for the format the kit ships to short-let hosts. A two-bedroom apartment two minutes from Galata Tower, built from the photographs it already had: every room brought into motion, a day passing across the rooftop terrace, and a short guide to the streets at the door, carried from the first frame by a spoken voice over an original score.

How it was made — every shot, its source
The film is built from many shots — and we are open about where each one comes from. Most are the apartment's own photographs, brought into motion. Two moments a single photograph couldn't reach we composed with AI and kept true: the rooftop's day was built from the terrace's own photographs, relit across dawn to dusk with an AI-composed couple arriving; the neighbourhood streets were rendered from Google Street View. Open any shot to see its source on the left and the motion made from it on the right; each is labelled for exactly what it is.

Beyond the rooms
The streets, and the way to your door
Where a stay has no photographs of its own streets, we build them. The neighbourhood in this film — the lanes up to the tower, the café run down to the water — was made from Google Street View with AI, harmonised to a single time of day and brought into motion. We can film the way to your door the same way: the walk from the metro or the tower to your entrance — so a guest can arrive before they book.

Ours
£750
Hiring a crew, two actors for the terrace couple, a composer and a voiceover artist for a film like this typically runs £8,000–£15,000 — and the crew needs your apartment empty for a day or two, so you lose the nights a paying guest would have booked. Ours is built from the photographs you already have. No crew, no cast, no closed doors, no lost bookings.
The constraint
The apartment already had what most stays have: a set of listing photographs that sell the light and the space. We built a single cinematic film from them — no reshoot, no crew on site — that moves through the whole apartment, finishes on the rooftop terrace over the Golden Horn, and places the stay in its neighbourhood. It is carried by a spoken voice, read aloud, and scored. And it carries no branding on the apartment itself.
The discipline is the studio's usual one: the photograph stays the source of truth. Where the apartment had a picture, we moved the picture. Where a single photograph could not reach — the terrace across a whole day, the lanes around the door — we composed the frame honestly, from the stay's own photographs where they existed, and show our working.
The decision
We began where the stay already was: its photographs. Every room in the film is one of the apartment's own listing photographs, brought into motion — a slow push through a doorway, a drift across a bedroom, a tightening onto the red powder-room tile we chose to lead with. The frame is held exactly as it was shot; nothing is added to a room that the room did not have.
Two moments the photographs couldn't reach on their own. The rooftop terrace has its own photographs, but no single frame holds a whole day; the lanes around the door had no photograph at all. So we composed both with AI and kept them true. The terrace has its own real table and its own real skyline; a couple arrives for a morning coffee and returns for an evening glass of wine as the light travels from a dawn low on one side to a dusk low on the other. The neighbourhood was the one part with no photograph of its own — so we worked from Google Street View of the real Galata streets and used AI to compose each frame into a single time of day and grade, keeping the tower, the shopfronts and the cobbles true, before bringing them into motion: the lane that ends at the tower, the ivy shopfronts, the café run down toward the water. Those composed frames are not hidden; they are shown in full below, each beside the motion it became.
A spoken voice carries the film from the first frame, read in a warm, unhurried English and set over an original score written for it. It closes on Galata Tower at golden hour, two minutes from the door, and a small studio credit — no branding on the apartment, the film selling the stay rather than a name.
What left the studio
- —Cinematic film — 1920×1080 widescreen master, scored and voiced
- —Every room brought into motion from the listing's own photographs
- —A rooftop day-arc — morning coffee to an evening glass of wine, from the terrace's own photographs
- —A short Galata neighbourhood guide — the lanes, the cafés, the tower
- —English voiceover, over an original score
- —Custom end card set in the Mahsus Display typeface
What it proved
This is an apartment tour at full length: the photographs a stay already owns, given a moving camera and a reason to be watched; and where a single photograph can't reach — a day on the terrace, the streets at the door — frames composed with the same discipline and shown in the open. One apartment, in its own light, made into a film that earns a second watch.
